What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Behind Door number 2

The Big Door Prize

Strike! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, May 3!

Our Top Pick tonight is the freshman show The Big Door Prize (Apple TV+, midnight). This moody comedy is set in a small town where a machine appears at the local grocer that can predict anyone's "life potential." History teacher Dusty (Chris O'Dowd) wants to resist it, but the town is obsessed. It's a solid show that isn't overwhelmed with its high-end concept. I've enjoyed the episodes I've watched.

ElsewhereThe Goldbergs ends its run, A Million Little Things ends 999,913 episodes early, Not Dead Yet could be dead, Josh and Melissa escape Schmicago, Digman seeks the Holy Grail, Ed Sheeran has It All, Flash is missing, a Conner graduates, and Nora becomes a survivalist.
