What's On Tonight (Sunday): This Attraction isn't going to be ignored

Fatal Attraction

America, this is you! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, May 21!

Our Top Pick tonight is the limited series no one asked for — Fatal Attraction (Paramount+, 3 a.m.). This is a remake of the classic 1987 thriller that is modernized to the 2020s and stretched to 8 episodes. Lizzy Caplan steps into the Glenn Close role of Alex Forrest and Joshua Jackson into the Michael Douglas role. Amanda Peet is Jackson's wife, a much-expanded role for the series. I was able to make it through an episode.

Elsewhere, NCIS: Los Angeles takes things personally to the end, America finishes another batch of Home Videos and finds a new Idol, Tom Jones wants love, Somebody has a birthday, Succession morns the dead, the Pastacolypse is coming, Showtime seeks Ghosts of Beirut, the Equalizer meets an old colleague, there's a meat problem up North, Dan Cortese loves Vinyl

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
