What's On Tonight (Friday): It's Been Marvelous...

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

No, I still haven't watched anything from the past season, but I will get there.  I mean, what else could I possibly pick?  The season premiere of The Real Murders of Orange County?  Evil-albino-children- suspense-thriller Tin & Tina?  No, this was the only choice.

Top Pick

🔔 The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon, 12:01 AM) SERIES FINALE

Elsewhere...

*Or I could pick The Gryphon, a new, I want to say German, supernatural show.  There's a neat clip in the trailer that looks like two Weeping Angels fighting with giant swords.  Wait, is it too late to change my Top Pick?

*Another contender for Top Pick was Nazis-hunting-for-gold-during-World War 2 film, Blood & Gold, but that is such a painfully generic title.  PAINFULLY generic.  It's like, why even bother giving it a title?  Now, me?  I would have called it Nazi Gold Hunters and called it a day.

*I finished up Poker Face.  It took me a while to get into it.  I liked all the episodes but part of me wanted it to be more of a traditional mystery show and I found myself continually fighting against that (the Knives Out movies do the same thing to me).  Highlight episodes for me were Exit Stage Death, Escape from Shit Mountain, and The Hook.
