What's On Tonight (Sunday): Save a horse, Ride the cowboy

Ride

Let them eat cake! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, April 9!

Our Top Pick tonight is the freshman series Ride (Hallmark Channel, 9 p.m.). The cowboy drama follows a Colorado family led by Nancy Travis who are struggling to keep their legacy ranch afloat, especially after the death of the eldest son. I'm pretty now-widow Tiera Skovbye wants to ride her brother-in-law Beau Mirchoff. Of course everyone has secrets, which drives nearly all the drama. It's standard Hallmark storytelling.

Elsewhere, Succession gets married, the Beach Boys are Grammy Saluted, London diminishes Great Expectations, Lee Murray gets docuseries treatment, The Blacklist rehires a Freelancer, the Benkos are HappyRaven's Home again, and a chef is crowned a Champion.
