Can we ever stop talking about him? I fear that will only happen when he finally stops talking about himself. In the meantime, Trump has yet to be indicted and arraigned let alone taken into custody, either by circus as Trump wants or quietly as nearly everyone else wants. [Business Insider]

Evan Corcoron, Trump's attorney will testify before the grand jury investigating the classified files recovered from Mar a Lago. The judge determined that the prosecution had produced enough evidence to move forward. Don't forget there's another grand jury investigation in Fulton County, Georgia regarding election interference. [CNN]

Take a deep breath because we're not done with the bad news yet

Uganda may seem a world away and geographically it is. But I was nearby recently and the people were friendly and welcoming. Of course we brought the US dollar and American passports. But they were happy that we were genuinely interested in their culture, their lives. Always listen when you travel. I answered plenty of questions about my home but I learned things that I didn't know to ask about.

So it's sad to see a country like Uganda taking such a hard line against LGBTQetc. people. Once Moseveni signs this bill (and he will), even saying that you are gay can put you in danger of life in prison. The last time that a bill like this passed it was turned over by the courts and due to international pressure. This bill is worse than the last one so hopefully it will fall. Until then (and probably after) it gives the haters an excuse to treat us as less than human. [NPR]
