Star Wars: The Bad Batch |
Now that's what I call a close encounter! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 4!
Our Top Pick tonight is season premiere of Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Disney+, 3 a.m.). The Bad Batch are some rugged, elite and experimental stormtroopers who didn't follow Order 66 and have turned on the Republic-turned-Empire, making them fugitives alongside travel companion Omega, a deviant young clone who is being hunted by the Empire. I found the first season was heavy on cameos and guest stars rather than plot.
Elsewhere, a contractor upsets the Economics, Chicago is One again, Lifetime rekindles Love, Madoff gets docuseries treatment, Abbott teachers spin the Wheel, the Eye gets Tough, Fox gets Toughest, and PBS has an Alien Encounter.
