What's On Tonight (Tuesday): Want the best? Call the Professionals

Courtesy IMDB; Brendan's got kind of a Rodney Dangerfield look going on, facially.

Tonight's Top Pick is the season and/or series finale of Professionals, airing on The CW. I almost went with Mariah Carey's Christmas special on CBS but decided, you know what, I want to keep up my gimmick of highlighting as many regularly-airing series as possible.

Let's see what else TV has to offer us for Tuesday, Dec. 20. All times are EST.

STREAMING
Dating Death, 3:01 a.m., Sundance Now. Premiere. "A documentary mini-series which covers the disturbing history of Rodney Alcala and how he targeted his victims by posing as a professional photographer. Despite committing horrible crimes over the years, Alcala consistently evaded detection and brutally killed eight identified women between 1968 and 1979. He was finally captured after investigators identified him when he appeared as a contestant on the popular reality show, The Dating Game. One of the most shocking reveals was that Alcala appeared on the show right in the midst of his murder spree, and also wound up winning a date with the female contestant. Three episodes available.

Welcome to Chippendales, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. "February 31st." "As Steve's financial woes mount, Nick offers a lifeline in the form of a proposal that would take Chippendales global. A printing error has disastrous consequences for the entire business."

TALKIN' 'BOUT TALK
Today, 7 a.m., NBC. Alternative gift ideas, social holiday etiquette, last minute holiday hacks for your table and the Northwell Health Nurses Choir. Later, Steve Kornacki has "Holidays by the Numbers," plus "a walk through A Christmas Carol," mental health awareness, drama-free holidays and more hacks for your table. After that, "The Scoopie Awards," Christie Brinkley, Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings (the Earn Your Leisure Podcast) and "Suddenly Santa."

The Kelly Clarkson Show, times and stations vary. Michelle Obama, Dolly Parton, Amy Poehler and Matthew West. I'm guessing Kelly is airing a day of extra material from previous interviews.

Dr. Phil, times and stations vary. Part II of "Was the COVID-19 Pandemic Mishandled?" Today, an examination of youth and learning.
