2022 is that bitch! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, December 31!
Our Top Pick tonight is the series finale of the long-running British medical dramedy Doc Martin (Acorn TV, 3 a.m.). This Christmas special formally ends the series, which premiered back in 2004. Martin Clunes stars as the brilliant but blood-fearing and socially challenged Dr. Martin Ellingham, who first appeared in Saving Grace, which is more of an alternative universe. He works in the quiet town of Portwenn with his schoolteacher wife and son.
Elsewhere, Lizzo gives us a concert spectacular, PBS celebrates togetherness with all kinds of music, Decades goes to a dimension of imagination, Andy and Anderson headline CNN, CBS goes to Nashville, Miley Cyrus hosts NBC's party, and maybe this is the year zombie Dick Clark boots Ryan Seacrest.

📺 Lingo (Pluto TV, now): It's not the original 1987 syndication run of this game show that was Wordle before there was Wordle. It's also not the 2002 GSN revival with Chuck Woolery. On Pluto, this is GSN's second revival. This 2011 version was hosted by Bill Engvall and pretty short-lived. It is the only Lingo that is streaming, and the show get a broadcast TV revival in a couple weeks with RuPaul as host. CBS! CBS! CBS!
Live to Lead (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SEASON ONE. Several world leaders committed to making a difference in the world share their life stories in this series executive produced by Prince Harry and Meghan.
Lizzo: Live in Concert (HBO Max, 3 a.m.): SPECIAL. It's about damn time to party with superstar Lizzo as she brings the house down with special guests Cardi B, SZA, and Missy Elliott. The live concert spectacular gives the viewers a front row seat to her acclaimed Special tour.✔️
📺 Doctor Who (Retro TV, 6 p.m.): The criminal Cessair is hiding on Earth after escaping before being prosecuted for stealing the Great Seal of Diplos, the third segment of the powerful Key to Time.
