Hate has consequences in North Carolina. Maybe the haters overstepped this time though. If they'd just shut down that dreaded, harmless drag show, most people would not have cared at all. But they shut down power to an entire county and endangered people who had nothing to do with drag and they are not going to sympathize and just might realize that scapegoating drag queens is wrong.
