What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Stargirl and the JSA dogs

Stargirl

Allianchu! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, November 2!

Our Top Pick tonight is the soon-to-be-concluded superhero series Stargirl (The CW, 8 p.m.). This third and final season finds Stargirl/Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) struggling to keep the new Justice Society of America (Wildcat II, Hourman II, Dr. Mid-Night II, Shiv) together. She is also a little hot for a possible enemy. Last week we also got our introduction to Helix! (No not that Helix. Or that one.) Semi-reformed supervillains the Crocks attempting to join society has been a brighter spot this season, as has Amy Smart's Barbara Whitmore. I find Luke Wilson's Pat as written too pompous this season.

Elsewhere, The Goldbergs dance in lines, the Dead wrote in hieroglyphics, Reginald meets an assassin, The Conner gets a promotion, Documentary Now! find a monkey teacher, The Real Love Boat streams, Sherman goes to Africa, and there's a Fire at the jewelry store.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)

STREAMING & EARLY PRIMETIME

πŸ“Ί The Addams Family (FreeVee / Roku Channel / Tubi, now): While the upcoming Wednesday-focused series isn't a spinoff or sequel to any previous Addams media, it will be a look at a teenage Wednesday.
