Weird: The Al Yankovic Story

One of the first cassette tapes I owned, if not the very first, was Weird Al Yankovic's In 3-D.  At least one of my brothers owned it too.  There was no way we were going to share it.  In fact, it seemed like every kid at my school owned it as well.  If they didn't own it, they still knew the songs.  I still consider myself a fan all these years later.  One of my kids has a Roku TV, which I will be borrowing just so I can watch Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.  It's nice to see Radcliffe, who's never appeared in anything of note, finally get a memorable role

*Manifest is back with the first part of its final season.  Apparently, Netflix sent the other half via cargo ship, and it was misplaced.  There was far too much stuff for Netflix to sort through.  If only there was some sort of document that listed all of the items the ship was carrying... 

*Jennifer Lawrence returns playing a vet trying to adjust to life back home in New Orleans while dealing with PTSD in Causeway.  I'm actually just assuming she has PTSD as I'm pretty sure there's a law that all former soldiers in movies and TV must have PTSD.  Except for Jack Reacher.  That Jack Reacher is one stone cold son of a bitch.

*NBC premieres new sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez tonight.  I watched the trailer.  It looks absolutely God awful.  The sort of crap that permanently turned me off to multi-camera comedies.  It'll probably be a huge hit.

I watched the first two episodes of HBO Max's new Spanish import, ¡García!, and it is pretty great.  It's extremely derivative and feels like a million other shows and movies, but it's a lot of fun, looks great and the two leads are perfect.  Highly recommended.
