What's On Tonight (Thursday): The Daily Show

Tonight's Top Pick is the premiere of Alaska Daily, Hilary Swank's new drama. Who knows, this could do really well with Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy as lead-ins. Then again, Rebel had the same chance.

A Friend of the Family, 3:01 a.m., Peacock. Series premiere. "Based on the harrowing true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan (Hendrix Yancey, later Mckenna Grace) was kidnapped multiple times over a period of years by a charismatic, obsessed family "friend" (Jake Lacy). The Brobergs (Anna Paquin and Colin Hanks) - devoted to their faith, family, and community - were utterly unprepared for the sophisticated tactics their neighbor used to exploit their vulnerabilities, drive them apart, and turn their daughter against them. Three episodes available, followed by one per week through Thursday, Nov. 17.

"A live-action movie musical based on the iconic Monster High franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures. Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris), who was born half human and half werewolf, (arrives) at her new school, Monster High. She quickly makes friends with her classmates Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot) and Draculaura (Nayah Damasen). When a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal her real identity, Clawdeen must learn to embrace her true monster heart and find a way to save the day alongside her new friends."
