What's On Tonight (Sunday): Another Book you watch, not read

Power Book III: Raising Kanan

The party is over! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, August 28!

Our Top Pick tonight is the drama series Power Book III: Raising Kanan (Starz, 9 p.m.). This is the second series in the Power franchise and is a prequel to the original, chronicling the rise of Kanan Stark (50 Cent in the original) in the 1990s.

Elsewhere, Animal Kingdom is dethroned, Tales has a nature documentary, PBS dives into The BoleynsTuca & Bertie mingle with exes, Guilt (for some reason) returns for a second season, and MTV hands out its Video Music Awards.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
