What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Mo show, Mo problems

Mo

Danger zone! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, August 24!

Our Top Pick tonight is the new comedy Mo (Netflix, 3 a.m.). The show stars comedian Mo Amer as Mo Najjar, a Palestinian refugee who goes to Houston with his family and struggles to adapt to life in America. I've always enjoyed Mo Amer's stand-up, and he was quite good as the cousin in Ramy. This show is loosely based on his real life experiences.

Elsewhere, Archer is still a show, the Paranormal arise from a burial ground, the Dogs go to a conference, Ollie searches for its home, Grown-ish pledges Gamma Psi Delta, HBO follows-up with Katrina Babies, and Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney get into football.
