What's On Tonight (Friday): Still No Crying in Baseball...

via Giphy

Some Top Picks are chosen based on merit, while others are chosen because it's easy to find GIFs of the film they are based on.  I'm not going to lie; I'm probably not going to watch Amazon's A League of Their Own.  I enjoyed the original film, and the series has a great cast (Nick Offerman!  Abbi Jacobson!  D'Arcy Carden!), BUT it's just not something that I can see myself binging.  That said, if people start talking about it, and the word is good, I'll probably check it out.

Elsewhere...

*Discovery+ has a new documentary about Viagra.  I cancelled my Discovery+ subscription this past week.  Documentaries about Viagra won't make me un-cancel it.

*Starz has a new series that promises to expose Peter Nygard, which is probably something that sick fuck would be totally down with.

*Netflix has a movie about a vampire hunter starring Jamie Foxx.  As of Thursday night, it has one review on Rotten Tomatoes and it ain't good.

So how great was Prey?  As much as I am enjoying Sandman I kinda wish I had made Prey last week's Top Pick.  It didn't end up needing the fabled Top Pick bump, but imagine if it had gotten it?  Hulu's servers would have melted down.
