And we're back!
So we have a few changes in format, as you can see. First of all, instead of the 1 year/5 years/10 years... I used to have, it's now 2/6/11... This means we're picking up right where we left off. My tentative plan is to keep this format through the end of the year, and in 2023 go with a hybrid 1/5/10... and 2/6/11... format, either in one big post or two weekly smaller posts.
The bigger change, and the one that I really hate having to make, is to completely cut the plot descriptions/commentary. I think these were the heart of these pieces, and I truly hate not writing them, but on the other hand, trying to write all the ones I had to write was far too much work. There was simply no way I could keep this a weekly column and write every description out. Eventually, I'd start falling behind again, and suddenly, we'd be doing 3/7/12/...years ago. I can save whatever interesting insights (or what I think are interesting insights) on the films I actually care about discussing for the comments.
