Everything's Trash |
We're all in this together! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, July 27!
Our Top Pick tonight is the freshman comedy Everything's Trash (Freeform, 10:30 p.m.). Based on Phoebe Robinson's book Everything's Trash, But It's Okay, the show follows Robinson as a tell-all podcast host living a messy, wild life until her brother runs for public office, pressuring her to finally face adulthood. I was a big fan of Robinson as half of 2 Dope Queens, so this show is right up my alley.

STREAMING & EARLY PRIMETIME
High School Musical: The Series (Disney+, 3 a.m.): SEASON PREMIERE. After a momentous year at East High, the Wildcats head to Camp Shallow Lake for two weeks of fun in the sun. With a high-stakes production of Frozen looming and new campers threatening to shake up the Wildcats' dynamic, the campers are in for an unforgettable summer of highs, lows, and "Let It Go's."
πΊ The L Word (Hulu / Showtime, now): Before there was Generation Q, a reality spinoff, and a documentary, there was just The L Word. The drama focused on lesbian and bisexual women living in West Hollywood and featured many queer women behind the camera, too. The show starred Jennifer Beals, Mia Kirshner, Pam Grier, Katherine Moennig, Leisha Hailey, and in later seasons, Sarah Shahi and Marlee Matlin, among many others. The sequel series, which has been renewed for a third season, follows-up on Beals, Moennig, and Hailey's characters.
Light & Magic (Disney+, 3 a.m.): LIMITED SERIES. "Showcasing the people of Industrial Light and Magic, the special effects division of Lucasfilm, this series takes us back in time as they create the effects for some of the biggest and most successful films of the last 45 years."✔️
The Most Hated Man on the Internet (Netflix, 3 a.m.): LIMITED SERIES. "Follow the story of the woman who stood up to Hunter Moore, the self-proclaimed "professional life ruiner," after photos of her naked daughter were posted online."
