What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Long live the multi-camera sitcom

The Upshaws

[*studio audience laughs*] Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, Jun 29!

Our Top Pick tonight is the return of the above average multi-camera sitcom The Upshaws (Netflix, 3 a.m.). The show follows a working-class Black family in Indiana that "struggles to make it work and make it right without the blueprints to do it." Bennie and Regina Upshaw (Mike Epps, Kim Fields) have 3 kids, though Bennie has another kid from a brief fling. Wanda Sykes plays Regina's older sister who frequently clashes with Bennie and gives out plenty of quality one-liners.

Elsewhere, A&E gives us the Black Comedy Revolution, Paramount+ goes All StarThe Flash is reeling, Netflix seeks Pirate Gold, Ms. Marvel travels abroad, Baymax goes solo, Wellington is full of our worst nightmares, Fuse gives us some Sex positivity, and Tim Allen and Richard Karn Power up.
