Today was a national holiday for only part of the country. How does that work? Only some states are happy that we can no longer enslave black people. So it's a Federal holiday but not necessarily a state one. Juneteenth is sort of an arbitrary date. All slaves were freed before then. It just marks when Union soldiers arrived in Texas with the news that slaves were freed. It took another year for them to cross Texas and finish the mission. More to the point, it was the owners who were told and many of them carried on as if nothing happened. Others fled the country and took their slaves with them. Other owners just slaughtered their slaves. I bet it's their descendants that are keeping this from being a true national holiday. Here is Biden's Presidential Proclamation on the occasion and some background from Wikipedia. [White House] [Wikipedia]

We're not done with Trump yet. I'm not sure what is on the agenda but the House subcommittee on the Insurrection will continue public hearings this week. Hearings are scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 21st at 1 PM Eastern and Thursday, June 23rd also at 1 PM Eastern. Politics Corner will be posted one hour prior to both hearings. Contrary to Trump and Fox's wishful thinking, these hearings have been a ratings hit so I would expect that you'd be able to watch them just about everywhere.
ETA: looks like we're going to the states on Tuesday, Particularly Arizona and Georgia. I wish they'd subpoena Gableman and have him attempt to justify what he's doing to Wisconsin right now - and charging for it too.
