Many things have happened since I talked with you last. Idaho is being Idaho and tried to send an Army of Proud Boys to protest Pride Celebrations. We might actually get a national gun control law but don't get to excited because it doesn't do much and just is likely to be overturned as passed.
But the big story for me today was the House committee on the Insurrection has begun to call for the Justice Department to conduct criminal investigations into Trump and those who helped in his attempt to steal a Presidential election. Expect hear more about this tomorrow morning when hearings resume at 10 AM Eastern. Politics Corner will be open an hour before that for discussion.
How to watch. Many networks have yet to commit airtime. C-Span will run the entire hearing live. CNN has committed to streaming the hearing on it's website whether or not you subscribe. WaPo will offer coverage before the hearings on YouTube and on it's website. I expect some form of coverage from NPR and NYT while Fox will offer LOOK! SHINY THING!
Another hearing is scheduled for Wednesday the 15th and there may be more hearings next week. A total of eight public hearings are likely through June and I'm expecting a final hearing in September to remind people what is at stake before the next National election.
