Occasional cooks: hot and cold

Y'all, it's cold here, and wet, and this fuss-free cauliflower cheese lasagne is very appealing. 

Strangely, the recipe calls for it to be cooked in two dishes, as shown, but does let you know you can cook it in one...

I looked for something more summery, and this Club Tropicana ice cream cake fits the bill. Ideal for a 70s retro pool party. This is super easy, and has my favourite garnish, maraschino cherries, so I am hanging on to this recipe.

Maraschino cherries are strangely hard to find - I can't get them at the supermarket, only at the big bottle shop (liquor store) a bit further away. It's like I'm not meant to eat them straight from the jar, but only use them occasionally in drinks!
