What' On Tonight (Wednesday): Lies, damned lies, and the Allies

Operation Mincemeat

Clever girl! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, May 11!

Our Top Pick tonight is the World War II-set movie Operation Mincemeat (Netflix, 3 a.m.), which tells the true story of how British intelligence managed to fool the Germans about the Allied invasion of Sicily. While the impressive cast includes Colin Firth, Matthew Macfadyen, Penelope Wilton, Jason Isaacs, and Paul Ritter, I'll check it out for Kelly Macdonald.

Elsewhere, Chicago gets a mob doctor, there's Kung Fu fighting at the Enclave gathering, The Goldbergs has mold, Nova investigates the death of the dinosaurs in North Dakota, American Food gets its history, Netflix takes a turn on a Donald Cline doc, and The Flash doesn't wanna grieve.
