What's On Tonight (Sunday): Cold-blooded killer / All-American Kid

Billy the Kid

I'm not a crook! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, June 5!

Our Top Pick tonight is the Western drama Billy the Kid (Epix, 9 p.m.). The series is a sorta truth about the famous gunslinger Billy the Kid (Tom Blyth) from her boyhood and Irish roots to being an outlaw. I figure this is a miniseries as Billy was killed at age 21 by Pat Garrett, whom he first meets tonight in an episode that sounds more fiction than fact. Either way, Billy has probably joined the Regulators, and the Lincoln County War is about to begin.

Elsewhere, MTV hands out awards, Martha Mitchell will testify, Duncan sees his mom naked, The First Lady wants to help fleeing Jews in Europe, the Time Traveler's Wife becomes legal, Watergate was quite the Scandal, and NBC celebrates the Jurassics.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
