The Hardy Boys |
Hi! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, April 6!
Our Top Pick tonight is the second season of the teen series The Hardy Boys (Hulu, midnight), a show I didn't about until the Daytime Emmys when it was nominated for young adult series. The show, made in Canada, stars Rohan Campbell and Alexander Elliot as teen brothers Frank and Joe Hardy as they're joined by friends and family in attempts to solve a mystery.
Elsewhere, Robin Roberts brings the Kardashians to primetime once again, Barry and Frost bicker, there's a ghost at Home, The Wonder Years quarantines, Nova wants to cure Alzheimer's, TLC builds Body Parts, and Kung Fu must prove its top chef.

STREAMING & EARLY PRIMETIME
πΊ The Fairly OddParents (Paramount+, now): Like iCarly, The Fairly OddParents have only been off the air a few years, but that doesn't stop TV revivals! The revival arrived last week and was a mix of live-action and animation instead of animated-only like the original. The original series focuses on Timmy and his miserable home life with neglectful parents and a bad babysitter. Then comes fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda, who grant his every wish. I passively watched it on occasion. The revival takes places years later and centers on Timmy's cousins.
⭐ The Hardy Boys (Hulu, midnight): SEASON TWO. "Frank and Joe return to detective work after a classmate goes missing."
Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story (Netflix, 3 a.m.): LIMITED SERIES. A popular and liked British host that quickly became known as a abhorrent and vile person after his death gets 8-episode docuseries treatment from Netflix, which seems way more episodes than necessary.
Moon Knight (Disney+, 3 a.m.): You know the routine. Or in Disney's case the lack of a routine. No synopsis for episode two.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder (Disney+, 3 a.m.): Penny starts a fundraiser to make up for getting her homeless teacher fired. Zoey asks Uncle Bobby to teach her the ways of the funk.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SEASON ONE, Part 1. "Nick and Vanessa Lachey encourage couples to put their love to the test while having encounters with other potential matches."
