Lots of good stuff this week. We have the series finales of Ozark and Grace and Frankie, although for some reason Netflix decided to only grant the former a retrospective. Prepare to lose another 200,000 subscribers Netflix. The Tomlin masses will not be denied.
Sundance Now has the British remake of the French comedy series, Call My Agent. AMC+ apparently also has it, so take your pick of whichever streamer you don't subscribe to less.
Speaking of AMC+, they also have the new ode to The Smiths, Shoplifters of the World Unite. AMC+ isn't sharing this one with its sister streamer. Any Smiths fans that only subscribe to the latter will find themselves lamenting, how soon is Sundance Now?
Just kidding. No one subscribes to Sundance Now.
But this week's Top Pick is season two of the Amazon Prime series, Undone. Rose Salazar plays a young woman who is losing her mind, discovering time travel powers she inherited from her father (Bob Odenkirk), or both. The series employs Rotoscoping, a technique where animation is applied over footage of real people (A Scanner Darkly used the same thing). It's trippy as hell. Between this and Outer Range, Amazon really seems to be cornering the market on weird shit.
