What's On Tonight (Wednesday): I'm goin' down to Fairview, gonna have myself a terrible time

Fairview

La, la, la, la, la, la America! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, March 2!

Our top pick tonight is the animated comedy Fairview (Comedy Central, 8:30 p.m.). However, "comedy" should be in quotes because nothing about the show is funny. The small town of Fairview, which is only populated by bobby a-holes, deals with national politics and issues in a general view from nowhere matter. It has terrible, limited animation, and the dialogue that is shouted. This show is horrible.

Elsewhere, the Legends must stop Gwyn, Batwoman showdowns with NuJoker, The Wonder Years gets a Black teacher, Tommy confronts a guy about the stolen tape, Oscar nominees arrive on streaming, the Race concludes its Amazing-ness, and Astrid & Lilly perform an exorcism.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)

๐Ÿ“บ Saved by the Bell (Peacock, now): It's alright 'coz you're saved by the bell! The '90s teen staple that can still be found in reruns currently has a revival on Peacock that is two seasons in and no word on a third. You can also watch the original series, which is an uber-Saturday morning teen show (today's kids don't know what that would mean) with stiff dialogue and VSEs. I have a soft spot for those Bayside High kids. I wanted to be in charge of a remake, but NBC didn't call me.
