This week's top pick is another Pixar release that will never see a big screen because Disney decided it has enough money and to continue to rake in the cash would just be gauche. This week's film is about a child who turns into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited, which sounds like a riff on Cat People. I, for one, would love to see a Pixar version of Cat People, but for the time being this will have to suffice.
Elsewhere, March madness is definitely right around the corner as no less than 26 basketball games in various tournaments are on the docket beginning at Noon. My uncle would be in hog heaven... if he had cable. He'll have to wait until Saturday to watch whatever table scraps the major networks are broadcasting.
Also, Netflix has a new Ryan Reynolds sci-fi time travel film. The word "Amblin" has been getting tossed around quite a bit in the mostly positive reviews. I take that as a good sign.
