What's On Tonight (Sunday): Gotta solve mysteries Before We Die

Before We Die

And the Academy Award goes to... Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, March 27!

Our Top Pick tonight is the latest British import Before We Die (PBS, 10 p.m.), which itself is a remake of the Swedish series that might also be airing on your local PBS station. (PBS offers subtitled series but rarely puts them on the national schedule.) The crime drama follows a detective (Lesley Sharp) as her married lover is kidnapped and her troubled son gets involved with the bad guys, too.

Elsewhere, Hollywood celebrates itself, Outlander visits the Cherokee, Uber fights for survival, the Lakers gets a new style, Sanditon has a governess, Daryl and Carol part ways, Riverdale rebuilds, and The Flight Attendant goes linear.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
