Is it weird that Curling, of all things, has become as popular as it has? When I was a kid, I don't remember if it was even a part of the Winter Olympics (I just checked - it was and has been since 1924), but these days you'd think it's one of the only reasons for the existence of the Winter Olympics. How long before we have a professional US curling league? Can a curling Superbowl be far behind? Not to mention an inspirational Disney film about a ragtag team of outsider curlers who play by their own set of rules but eventually learn how to play as a team and will probably involve a golden retriever in some capacity? I think this horse is out of the barn and all we can do is figure out how best to ride it.
Elsewhere we have the second season of Dollface on Hulu, Netflix is out with two films with "love" in the title (one involving bondage) in time for Valentine's Day (did I mention one involves bondage?), and Peacock has a new rom-com (that does not involve bondage) starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Lopez that is about twenty years too late (THANK GOD IT DOES NOT INVOLVE BONDAGE).
