There were never going to be any "winners" on the women's side of figure skating and that we had a podium ceremony at all should have been a triumph - at least if you listened to the tone deaf Olympic Committee. But by the end, all four women in contention were broken and in tears. Most of the "winners" didn't even want to go to the podium. I suppose it's only fitting that the routine that I loved the most was by far the angriest.
