What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Astrid & Lilly probably Save the World

Astrid & Lilly Save the World

They're here already! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 25!

Our top pick tonight is the latest science fiction dramedy, Astrid & Lilly Save the World (Syfy, 10 p.m.). The new series stars Jana Morrison and Samantha Aucoin in the title roles as outcast high schoolers who not only must navigate crushes and family in their awkward adolescence but also fighting monsters after opening a portal to another dimension.

Elsewhere, the Alien is back, Boba readies for war, Australian critters get cameras, Nova profiles the Mayans, Griff isn't GoodBatwoman has her hands full, Amy Schneider aims for J! win 41, and Let's Make a primetime Deal.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
