What's On Tonight (Sunday): One-hundred fifteen thousand two-hundred minutes 🎢

Around the World in 80 Days

Cast your cares away! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, January 2!

Our top pick tonight is premiere of the latest British import Around the World in 80 Days (PBS, 8 p.m.), which is based on the Jules Verne novel and stars David Tennant as the wealthy Phileas Fogg who wants to circle the planet. Perhaps don't expect closure at the end of its 8-week season. It's been renewed for a second season. Still, it's gotta be better than the Oscar-winning film version and that Jackie Chan movie.

Elsewhere, family is everything in Yellowstone, Gordon Ramsey searches for a Chef, Guy has another Food show, a Yellowjacket cyberstalks, SEAL Team goes to South America to fight Iran, 60 Minutes fights Nazis, Discovery gets Dirty, and Uncle Daddy misplaces the kids.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)

The childrens' musical-comedy series ran for 5 seasons in the 1980s.
