I got a little sports in my politics today. For the first time ever an openly gay man will play in the NFL playoffs. One of the few good news stories from the Raiders this year is how smoothly Carl Nassib's coming out has been accepted by his team in light of the trash talk from ex-Raiders head coach Jon Gruden.
