What's On Tonight (Sunday): He's a lumberjack and he's okay

Dexter New Blood

Wingardium Leviosa! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, December 5!

Tonight's Top Pick is the continuing story of Dexter Morgan, 10 years after he became a lumberjack, an ending no one wanted. The "miniseries" Dexter: New Blood (Showtime, 9 p.m.) — "miniseries" unless it proves popular — finds Dexter (Michael C. Hall), now Jim Lindsay, in small town New York and in a relationship with the chief of police (Julia Jones). However, incidents in town and the return of his son cause Dexter's "Dark Passenger to re-emerge.

Elsewhere, the Doctor ends her Flux, Larry Curbs election day, China backpedals capitalism, Insecure has a girls night, Epix spotlights A&M Records, Joe Pera stays busy in the winter, CBS celebrates the holidays, Reelz profiles Bruce Dickinson, and Succession goes to a wedding.
