Mark Meadows is suing the House select committee on the insurrection for being the House select committee on the insurrection. We'll see how that works for him. [CNN]
The House passed a giant Defense bill. I guarantee that none of those Reps. know everything that's in there but most of them voted for it. Votes against were for narrow reasons. And, as usual, the Pentagon got more than they asked for. [ABC]
The House also passed an agreement to allow Democrats to raise the debt ceiling without Republicans one time only. This wouldn't be necessary if Republicans were willing to pay the money they spend. [USA Today]
The DC council said Fuck You Mohammad Bin Salman and renamed the street in front of the Saudi Arabian Embassy Jamal Khashoggi Way. I hope that the US Post Office will refuse to deliver mail with the incorrect mailing address. [NPR]
