The CDC has reduced it's recommended quarantine for COVID infected people. This is partly to relieve the crush on hospitals and clinics but mainly because they want to bring isolation time in line with what they now know about the risk of contagion. [Associated Press]
Like last year and every year before that, the Defense Department got everything it asked for and much more that it doesn't even want. And the ribbon on that giant package is language that bars the President from shutting down Guantanamo Bay. [NBC]
