What's On Tonight (Saturday): Animals' Funniest home videos

World's Funniest Animals

I can has cheezburger! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, April 2!

Our Top Pick tonight is the season finale to the home video clip show World's Funniest Animals (The CW, 9 p.m.). The structure is sort of like America's Funniest Home Videos, but instead of a single host who does all, this has a host with "celebrity" guests for chit chat and panelists for video commentary. And the guests bring along their furballs, too.

Elsewhere, newly-out Jerrod Carmichael is live from New York, Whitney Houston gets another retrospective, Made in Abyss enters the final stretch, Attack on Titan has declared war on the world, Murdoch searches for a clown, the Classroom gets a backstory, and some Jokers are still Impractical.

STREAMING & EARLY PRIMETIME

πŸ“Ί The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew (Roku / Tubi, now): These two French-Canadian series from 1995 are okay but are somewhat distant from the youthful mystery source material since the detective trio are young adults. I watched both yet have little memory of either of them. The Hardy Boys stars Colin Gray and Paul Popowich as the detective brothers. Tracy Ryan stars as Nancy Drew, who guest stars on a couple Hardy Boys episodes. The show also features a young Scott Speedman. Parker Stevenson-Shaun Cassidy-Pamela Sue Martin they are not!

Murdoch Mysteries (Ovation, 7 p.m.): At Halloween, Murdoch pursues a killer dressed as a clown who is terrorizing young couples.
