DC's corrections director and jail warden are being held in contempt of court because they would not give medical treatment to an insurrectionist. This is correct but it also is completely wrong. This is a demand for humane treatment but only for the insurrectionist and not the men of color accused of crimes that fill the jail. Speaking of the insurrection, Jeffrey Clark (who has already had a bad day with the Senate Judiciary) has been subpoenaed by the House select committee. [Associated Press] [Guardian]
