What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Less than 1 percent of people get addicted, they said

Dopesick

Reruns take over the fire station! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, November 17!

Tonight's Top Pick is the series finale of the OxyContin/opioid crisis-centered limited series Dopesick (Hulu, midnight). The show is anything but linear in its 8-episode narrative with a half-dozen series arcs and a large pool of characters. Michael Stuhlbarg as Richard Sackler is the villain. He's very weird. Peter Sarsgaard and Rosario Dawson are the government agents trying to topple his empire. Michael Keaton and Kaitlyn Dever are faces for the crisis on the ground. The show is good, but it's structure (and some character developments) can be off-putting.

Elsewhere, it's Thanksgiving on ABC, Nova visits black holes, Hulu finds a killer Monkey, Indianapolis gets Hard Knocks, teens train dogs, CSI has a suspect, and Twenties gets deeper into relationships.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
