So, these few weeks have been hell. I've moved out, but lost some things in the moving, the new place looked nice in pics but it's actually falling apart, I have no heating because the gas company shut the whole building down for a few months due to a major leak, plus the ISP promised me they would install me the service on the new address only to tell me yesterday SIKE! they're not providing service here... and it's the only ISP I have available! How am I going to work? Who knows. But Totally Tunes keeps on truckin', just, y'know, it has a bad day.
Turns out "bad day" is not a good topic to search in Pexels |
So, as usual, we begin this article with the song that gives it its subtitle, in this case a fun REM tune that talks about media, consumerism, and in-your-face everything, even when you're down.
This song was everywhere for a while, I think it was used for American Idol? I like it, but it's sappy as all heck.
Aqua did this weird pop-country riff about a very freaky Friday in where things weren't going anyone's way. Of course, as it's par for the course with satire, the "bad day" has A LOT going on.
In this classic Creedence Clearwater Revival tune, a bad moon rising spells trouble on the way, so more than a bad day it's a bad NIGHT, so don't go out tonight, peeps.
Let's close this article with the great Willie, who has a TERRIBLE day on this classic tune.
How's your day been? What songs about bad days or bad luck do you know?
