Sifan Hassan pulled off an amazing comeback in the 1,500 meter race. The runner in front of her fell and Hassan tripped over her, falling to the back of the pack. Hassan picked herself up and raced ahead to win the heat. [NPR]
The IOC admits there are problems with their transgender athlete policy and plan to announce an update after Tokyo. Given that this is the IOC I expect them to make a mess of it. [Yahoo!]
