Something was different at baggage check in Monterrey, Mexico a couple weeks ago. There was only one line at the exit. Normally only people with something to claim get stopped along with random baggage checks of everyone else. This time everyone's bags got checked. No one smuggles drugs into Mexico. They were looking for guns. American guns.
Mexico is getting serious about stopping the gun violence and is suing US gun makers and distributors in US Federal Court. We might reap some of the benefits if they win. [Al Jazeera]
