So it's summer over there, isn't it? Well, over most of you there, I know there's some of us like me who live in the opposite hemisphere. A little sun would be nice here, but anyways I'm not very fond of summer and heat. It's gross, basically: you sweat, you get sunburn, and there's a shitload of people in the streets just hanging around. But music people love summer, so here are some songs about summer, and you can share your favorites in the comments, as usual.

As par for the course, let's start with the one that gives the article its title, in this case the theme song for the first Shaun the Sheep movie. It's not exactly a masterpiece of music, but it's a lovely summery tune all the same.
The Monkees' Good Times came with a bunch of fantastic songs written by renowned and talented songwriters (and also Rivers Cuomo), including this Andy Partridge-written bop, complete with feels-very-outdated-looking-Flash video.
Speaking of renowned songwriters, Beck Hansen provided several tunes to the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World soundtrack, including this short and fun summer tune:
Do you know how many tunes are named Summertime? It's such a forking basic song name, absolutely tragic. And they can go from fun to really nostalgic, otherwise ask My Chemical Romance about it:
