Run the World |
'Ello! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, June 27!
Tonight's Top Pick is the Starz's delightfully Black female dramedy Run the World, which follows the lives of four BFFs as they navigate Harlem. The most recognizable actress is Amber Stevens West, though a couple others might look familiar. The show has a strong voice, which is exactly what Starz wants/needs. (Sorry, PBS, you don't get Top Pick when you burn through your show in two weeks.)
Elsewhere, Jackie Collins gets documentary treatment, a new Bat hero emerges, Us is over, boxing Kings concludes, Kevin can still F**k Himself, Evil is avenging, Sara has a secret to share with Legends, Kiss gets Biography treatment, the Black Monday gang is together again, Tuca gets stressed, and John the Baptist meets the Chosen Jesus.
