Joe Biden was busy being Presidential today. He went to Tulsa to address the horror of the Race Massacre 100 years ago. He listened and he spoke. He committed to fixing racial disparity. [Associated Press]
Biden also marked the beginning of Pride month with a proclamation and he called on Congress to pass the Equality Act to ensure the rights of LGBTQetc. people. [NBC]
Looking less Presidential was last year's guy who's pushing the blatant lie that he will be "reinstated" as President in August. Not only is that something that cannot legally happen but he's encouraging treason to make it happen. Even the good news for him is bad news. Biden's Justice Department wants to let Trump and company off the hook for their publicity debacle across Lafayette Square. That will probably happen but in the meantime the police admitted for the first time in court that tear gas was used on peaceful protesters to clear Trump's way to hold an upside down Bible up for the cameras. [WUSA]
Also not looking Presidential is Presidential hopeful Florida Governor DeSantis who smiled broadly as he signed a law attacking trans people on the first day of Pride month. Fuck you too, DeSantis. [Independent]
Political discussion welcome.
