Here's some good advice about potatos and whether they are really bad for you (they're not, with some provisios). Useful information if you love some mash. One of the key messages in here is, eat them with the skin. I make mash with the skin on, and you can barely notice it.

I mentioned this hoisin mince and noodles receipe a few weeks ago - having finally made it, I'm back to report it was a winner. I used a little too much oil, but that's easy to adjust. And you can easily up the vegie content in this one - I added some diced mushroom in place of some of the mince. You could probably completely replace the mince with vege. Definitely going in the rotation.

And because there's always room for dessert... let's have some hot chocolate self-saucing pudding.
