What's On Tonight (Sunday): Kate loves an accent

Mare of Easttown

Heeeeeeere's... what's on television for tonight, Sunday, May 2!

The Top Pick is HBO's latest limited series Mare of Easttown, starring Oscar-winning Brit and accent nerd Kate Winslet, who is now doing a Delco accent. She is Det. Mare Sheehan, a local sports icon of yesteryear and now investigator with a cold case missing girl and a new murder of another girl. She has suspects and help from Quicksilver Evan Peters, but this small town hosts a lot of drama and twists. Plus, Mare's life is kinda falling apart. I really like this show.

Elsewhere, prestige television is fully back as the brilliant Pose returns for its final run, CNN educates us about the United Shades and how Late Night TV came to be, the Legends of Tomorrow are here today, Experiences with the Girlfriend are back, and the unconventional Israeli dramedy Uri and Ella comes to America. And there's also everything else like Bob, Zoey, the Rookie, the Harts, the Dead, the Girls, Therapy, etc.
