It's Sunday so let's talk football. There will be politics involved. Once upon a time two football players publicly took a knee. One was a pretty good player who even led his team to a Super Bowl. The other really sucked but kept failing upward. The first player is still not allowed to play even though players who are objectively much worse keep getting contracts worth millions. The second player was just allowed back into professional football despite never making any positive contribution whatsoever. Can you guess why? [Mother Jones]
