Chookity! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, May 1!
Tonight's Top Pick is the TBS-produced series Final Space that airs on Adult Swim. The show has certainly evolved from its rough, irksome start. A death in the first season sets the show on a better path, but it remains uneven at times. The first season is about Gary going from space prisoner to renegade trying to prevent an invasion of the destructive Final Space and the almighty being Invictus. He assembles a ragtag team and in season 2, finds an ally in the Titan named Bolo, all protecting the quirky but important round alien Mooncake. It boasts an impressive voice cast, including David Tennant, Tom Kenny, Steven Yeun, Tika Sumpter, and Ron Funches.
Elsewhere, NBC Inspires, Jaegerists hold Attack on Titan power, Drama Club goes to the school dance, Murdoch finishes his 14th season, The Promised Neverland hears from a hopeful ally, and the crush-worthy John David Washington tries to prevent WWIII forwards and backwards.

🎥 The Bourne Trilogy (Peacock, 3 a.m.): The original Jason Bourne trilogy comes to Peacock, three of the titles new to the young streamer this month.

🎥 The French Connection (Hulu, midnight): The classic, Oscar-winning detective thriller is one of the titles new to Hulu this month.
🎥 The James Bond franchise (Tubi, 3 a.m.): The entire pre-Daniel Craig 007 films comes to Tubi this month. They are some of the numerous movie titles new to the Fox-owned streamer, which intends on a slate of original programming this fall.

Murdoch Mysteries (Ovation, 7 p.m.): SEASON FINALE. Reeling from a personal revelation, Murdoch seeks to avenge the murder of Anna Fulford.

🎥 Svengoolie: The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (MeTV, 8 p.m.): Timid typesetter Don Knotts longs to be a reporter and hopes to land a big story by spending a night in a haunted house.
🎥 Tenet (HBO, 8 p.m.): The Academy Award-winning Tenet arrives on premium television. The movie sucks, hard, yet there are some people who like it. The movie follows a secret agent who embarks on a dangerous, time-bending mission to prevent World War III. Wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey.

📺 Father Dowling Mysteries (Decades, 10 p.m.): A weekend with the priest detective. Father Dowling and Sister Steve are taken in by a fake priest. It turns out 'Father' Damon is actually a hit man sent to kill aging gang-leader, Victor Malko. Father Dowling tries to warn Malko, but he won't take Dowling's warnings seriously. And now the real Father's life might be in jeopardy.
⭐ Final Space (Adult Swim, 10:30 p.m.): As an infection grows within the giant Titan (and ally) named Bolo, the crew races to help before he's lost to them forever. The story has fractured this season as the team gets scattered at times, especially Ash, who has a Raven-like story. It is certainly better than previous seasons.

The Promised Neverland (Adult Swim, 1:30 a.m.): "Without warning, the shelter's phone begins to ring. Emma hesitantly answers and finds that it is William Minerva." Uh, that was what happened in the final minute of the last episode.
📺 The Rookies (Heroes & Icons, 2 a.m.): Easy Wyatt is a cop with many years behind him on the force, and his ranch has recently been the target of destruction in a new plan to build a freeway. Now, Wyatt is becoming mentally unstable, and his instability is slowly spiraling deeper and deeper.
📺 The Six Million Dollar Man (Cozi, midnight): Both Steve and the nation's computers oppose a rogue computer bent on electronic domination.
