Hands up! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 27!

It's a police night for Top Pick. Blergh, I know. CBS' S.W.A.T. is a remake of a spinoff of a '70s show. I don't figure the show is good; I watched the first half-dozen episodes and didn't like it at all. It's a cliche procedural about a Los Angeles SWAT team, led by Shemar Moore. But notable factoid: the show crossed-over with The Shield.

Elsewhere, Alan Tudyk is an alien, a dominatrix returns, there's One Chicago, Naomi is still alive, Beverly sues her publisher, Riverdale gets preppy, Strike finds a big clue, Darlene earns a promotion at Wellman, and the Drew Crew still faces the Aglaeca,

Bonding (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SEASON PREMIERE. That New York City grad student moonlighting as a dominatrix with assistance from her gay BFF from high school are back for season 2.

The Expanse (Amazon, midnight): Amos, Clarissa, and a gang of thieves work together to leave Earth. Avasarala tries to head off a brutal military strike. Drummer's new family bonds are tested as Naomi's life hangs in the balance.

Jeopardy! 💲 (Syndicated, check local listings): Brian Chang goes for game 7. However, he doesn't know who James Garner is.

Penguin Bloom 🎥 (Netflix, 3 a.m.): A family (Naomi Watts, Andrew Lincoln, Jacki Weaver) takes in an injured baby magpie 🐦 that they name Penguin and makes a profound difference in their lives. Um, they name the bird after another bird. That's weird.✔️

The Goldbergs (ABC, 8 p.m.): Beverly enlists Erica's help to sue her cookbook publisher after finding her book in the bargain bin at a bookstore. Thankfully, I've yet to see my book in a bargain bin.✔️
